10.53 CTW Asscher Cut Colombian Emerald and Diamond Bombe Cocktail Ring in 18ct Gold

This vintage ring is extraordinary. It’s immense and beautiful. The patron saint of fabulous jewellery, Elizabeth Taylor, would have loved it and that for me is the question I ask myself with all jewellery! This gorgeous, bombe-style ring features a magnificent Asscher-cut Colombian Emerald that weighs 2.42 carats, and it’s glorious. The way it’s set is a masterclass, and it’s supported by F colour, VS1 clarity mystery-set step-cut Diamonds. The Diamonds have a total weight of 8.11 carats. Yes. 8.11 carats! This ring is incredible!  This ring was owned by someone pretty famous, if you buy it, we can tell you who 👌

This ring is inscribed within the band with the carat weights and gold purity, but no maker's marks that we can see.  With a bit of research you may be able to attribute it to a jewellery house. It’s magnificent quality, and utterly joyful and almost certainly made by someone of note. 

This ring will fit a size I - L (US 4 1/2 - 5 1/2). It measures L (US 5 1/2) on the ring gauge, but because it’s so thick it gives a bit of finger muffin top, and I think it might be most comfortable on an I or K (US 4 1/4 - 5 1/8) finger.  It can’t be sized to fit.
